I apologize for being absent here for the past couple weeks. The truth is, I've been sitting on some news, and its been occupying every spare inch of space in my excited, scared, happy, nervous, superstitious brain. The news is:

Exhaling Now.... I've been holding my breath. You already know how I feel. Had four kids and no nausea, so can't help you there. Email me, however, if you get constipated. (Was that just too much information?) I am overjoyed for you guys!

soooo happy for you! kt

Yaaaaaay!
Congratulations!
I'm sure you've heard all these before but just in case: I got some relief from those Sea-Bands that you wear on your wrist, ginger chews and ginger tea.
I also swore by keeping food at bedside to eat first thing before I even sat up.
Everyone has their own food that helps settle your stomach. For me it was crackers, and whole milk. I think the milk was because I had heartburn which made my nausea worse, and milk relieves heartburn.
Very excited for you!

yeah it's out! You know i'm ELATED!!!!! Can't wait till chrissy see's this!
Nausea- i agree with elizasmom- ginger I've heard but what helped me is eating before I went to bed and as soon as you get up...before you even get out of the bed. Usually carbs of some sort. I would have a plain bagel lightly buttered with Brooke...What's good though is all those symptoms do usually end at the three month mark...which is nuts when you think about it. Happy growing!!!

I just read my post and laughed a bit..had to share...the plain bagel is also why i probably gained those 20 extra pounds...so be careful with that! lol.

Thanks for all the tips!
Elizasmom - I'm usually a big fan of ginger, but its the one thing that's been turning my stomach lately! And I've read so many times about how its got stomach-settling properties....... :) Oh well! I'll have to find those seabands.
Annette -- I am a slave to the carbs. I'm trying so hard not to go nuts on them (har har), but I would eat a bagel at every meal if I could.
Also, I don't really have nausea in the morning. It seems to hit in the middle of the day. So far I've been able to control it with little snacks (pb crackers are my favorite) and chamomile tea.
Oh lord.... here it comes now........ And I LOVE IT!!!

I am so happy for you! Congratulations! No advice on the morning sickness though. Don't hate me but I never experienced that during either one of my two pregnancies. And I did not miss it one bit.

yahooooooo! you know we're thrilled. unfortunately, i have no words of wisdom having not experienced any of this myself. although, i believe that mint is also supposed to be good for an upset stomach...
oh, and one more thing - YIPEEEEEEEE!

AMAZING! WONDERFUL! MIRACULOUS! A GIFT!!! I know you've heard this and it's a small consolation but morning sickness is a good sign. I for one hope it keeps up! <3

Thank you, thank you, everyone!
The morning sickness seems to come and go and actually has not been too bad (whew!)
Chrissy -- I agree, I welcome every sign of pregnancy (no matter how uncomfortable)!!!

First time commenter coming to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I wish I had some suggestions for the morning sickness but I just don't - now insomnia (which you can say hello to later on in the pregnancy) I can help you with that for sure.
