My History

  • We started trying to conceive when I was 33 years old, after spending a few years making sure that we were financially and professionally ready to start a family. My mother gave birth to all three of her children in her 30s, and I had no inkling that infertility lay ahead of me. Four years later, after 4 IUIs, 2 IVFs and an FET, we finally became pregnant on our third IVF. We lost one twin at 11 weeks, but our remaining baby appears to be a healthy and strong little fighter.
